About Our Business:

Growing up in Connecticut Pat often traveled to the Salmon River as a young
child until his permanent move in 1993.   Being on the Long Island Sound, Pat
knew he possessed a special talent for fishing, as he always caught something!

His father started bringing him along on his frequent fishing vacations to the
Salmon River as a young boy.

In 1993 Pat decided to make the move the Salmon River with his wife, Kristin and
began his career in what he loved to do.   He obtained his NYS License to Guide
and began the journey.

Along the way he built cabin rentals in 1997 to accommodate his clients.  He
again expanded and purchased a commercial building in 1999 and opened a fly
and tackle shop.  After building the retail business and customer base for 8
years, he knew his heart was in guiding, thus the decision to sell the retail
business in January 2007.  A lot of great memories, customers and stories were
made at the shop.  After numerous requests of customers and fishermen, we
have expanded again and have opened one bedroom chalets.  The chalets offer
that little extra bit of comfort that so many fishermen have complained about
over the years.  The chalets have fireplaces, flat screen televisions and private
bedrooms.

Pat continues to be a full time fishing guide and along with his wife, Kristin, they
also operate private cabin rentals.  Pat has two children, Crystal (25),  Patrick, Jr.
(12) and the newest edition, grandaughter, Alexis (5 months)!

Pat specializes in teaching people the special fishing techniques, whether it be
spin fishing or fly fishing to make your trip to the Salmon River one of a kind!
